Here's a story about my first ever, guest podcast...

Yes, Rusty had to be in the photo. Why? He's the main character at all times. Molly is the sweetest human you're ever going to meet. We went to high school together - way back when. I truly haven't spoke with her in probably 12 years. She graduated with my brother and all I knew is that when I'm mindlessly scrolling on facebook, I occasionally see a post from her that is focused on Jesus!
Like the facebook post where she shared she is going on a mission trip to Uganda (which by the way you could support her going by donating here: https://give.loveoneint.org/fundraiser/6159467).
Or the fact that she published her own devotional: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DB9FHHNX?ref=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BVSG029DYPPAYS181TQ7&ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BVSG029DYPPAYS181TQ7&social_share=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_BVSG029DYPPAYS181TQ7&language=en-US&skipTwisterOG=1&fbclid=IwY2xjawKBxBVleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFyYzM5eWVCd1JuSWY0SWFRAR5qxCFqiB4EcX57IJFG3h9aJCmohcmyBTedlarpcfkU13I_zKP6VuweMUfePw_aem_l5D22XZqIEL_ijTaIg-r1Q
But I think the most extraordinary thing about this podcast is Molly's story being God's story all along. Molly, as you can tell, is a literal ray of sunshine. If Mrs. Rachel and Mrs. Frizzle combined - it's Molly. From her fit, her personality, and her love for the Lord this girl is a woman of God!
I asked Molly to travel down to Knoxville to be on the podcast - you know the one I've barely started? I told her that I know when don't really know each other, but I feel like God wants her to share her story - whatever that may be. Immediately she said yes! What?! Girl, have you been hearing God's voice too?
We planned the date, and to be honest - everything that could have gone wrong - went wrong. No joke! I didn't know that if I had the blinds open, there would be shadows, then sunlight, then shadows, then sunlight. I didn't remember to hit record on the sound mixer for the first 15 minutes of us talking. I didn't know that I needed to see about adding a camera mount so my camera doesn't shut off at 29 minutes and 30 seconds. Or that your camera can overheat from recording too long. There's so many bumps that happened that at the beginning - I decided I must have been completely wrong about doing this podcast thing. I'm disqualified, I'm failing.
But Molly, with the graceful spirit that she has, she said "girl let's just keep going". So I'm here to tell you to keep going! Your purpose is to spread the Gospel and I'm telling you right now, it might be messy. Actually, I can guarantee that if you're giving it your all - it will be messy! But we luckily serve a God that picks up the pieces and somehow uses it to bring His kingdom Glory.
